Responsibilities
Partial Job Description
1) Influence the organization by developing and establishing a vision for a particular market segment(s)
2) Support the strategic direction of blood management solutions with respect to the business plan
3) Foster relationship with key thought leaders to facilitate and promote company as a global leader of blood management solutions
4) Identify market, opportunities and feasibility of product development and/or business development
5) Partner effectively with Regional Marketing teams for seamless transition for sales execution
6) Support including, but not limited to development of effective resource tools and repositories for relevant market segment information for effective field access
7) Create segment or product specific tactical plan
8) Develop entire portfolio of marketing deliverables (including business plan, business case, etc.)
9) Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives
10) Oversee all aspects of global lifecycle management
11) Lead a team (either directly or indirectly) to drive new market strategies with existing and new product platforms
12) Determine market analysis approach and guide research
13) Coordinate technical product development and/or integration activities as required for new business development projects
14) Develop strategic and tactical marketing plans for specific products that manage sales and profitability objectives
15) Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales and methods of operation
16) Provide technical consultation to field personnel and customers during the early life of new products
17) Propose and manage new product development and introduction programs
18) Establish worldwide guidelines for pricing of specific market segment(s) or product
19) Forecast worldwide product sales for specific market segment(s) or product
20) Partner with global marketing communications on product positioning and brand identity for market segment and/or product
21) Oversee development of Turnkey Marketing programs and solutions for market segment
22) Provide franchise direction, messaging and positions to regional marketing
23) Participate in the business development process as needed
24) Develop and execute MPIA & SPIA initiatives owned and accountable by the regions
25) Mentor and develop direct reports or other team members, as appropriate
Requirements
Qualifications / Skills Required
1) BS/BA
2) MBA or advanced marketing training preferred
3) 7+ years of progressive sales, marketing and management experience with a minimum of 5 years in the healthcare related industry
4) International and domestic market experience, including franchise management, branding, mergers & acquisitions
5) Successful record of accomplishment in product development, program management and commercial marketing preferred
6) Skilled at expert presentation, collaboration and influential management
7) Knowledge of developed market models
8) Ability and willingness to travel (up to 50%)
