About our client
Our client is a premier drug discovery company headquartered in North Carolina that is focused on the development and commercialization of innovative products with a wide variety of applications for human health. Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Management NC
Salary

Responsibilities
1) Manage a DMPK laboratory with focus on ADME studies within the Non-clinical-Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics (NPK/PD) section
2) Present findings in project teams and DMPK sub-teams
3) Document findings in internal and external reports and /or publications
4) Deliver PK/PD contributions
5) Ensure safety, environmental and animal welfare regulations are followed
6) Act as the Study Director of ADME studies
7) Plan, conduct, evaluate, report and ensure quality and timeliness of internal and/or outsourced
8) PK, ADME and in vitro studies
9) Ensure adequate training of technical staff
10) Develop/optimize new experimental methods
11) Deliver within the agreed timelines
12) Contribute to the development and harmonization of DMPK locally and world-wide
13) Supervise technical staff and assess their performance
14) Ensure timely delivery of expert data interpretation to meet project goals
Requirements
1) Ph. D. or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry or appropriate
2) 5 – 7 years of experience in a similar role
3) 5+ years of experience in DMPK, ADME, pharmacokinetics, PK/PD and/or in-vivo and in-vitro DMPK challenges
4) 7 years of experience in big pharma or a successful biotech
5) Expertise in PK/PD authority
6) Proven ability to manage, motivate and direct technical staff of 4, with potential to lead up to 10
7) Highly motivated individual with innate ability to work under strict timelines
8) Strong leadership skills
