Responsibilities
1) Support Executive Vice President, Global Services, in meeting strategic corporate objectives in relation to global operations
2) Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to facilitate long-term corporate goals
3) Manage day to day company operations on international basis
4) Oversee all phases of CRO management (business development, proposals & contracts, bid defenses, etc.)
5) Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company's operational activities
6) Develop global SOPs
7) Identify conflicts, problem resolution and present recommendations
8) Develop relationships internally and externally in order to facilitate opportunities and productive working relationships across the company
9) Exhibit a high degree of finesse with both external and internal clients
10) Interact with staff and clients of all levels
11) Oversee internal resources, utilization, reporting and budget adherence
12) Oversee matrix management
Requirements
1) Advanced degree highly preferred
2) Minimum 15 years of progressive experience on management positions within a CRO environment
3) Extensive knowledge and expertise in all facets of daily CRO management
4) Demonstrated expertise in international management of day to day operations within a CRO environment
5) High degree of familiarity with all phases of CRO management (business development, proposals & contracts, bid defenses, etc.)
6) International CRO experience a must
7) Experience in writing global SOPs
8) Utilization and budget adherence experience
9) Experience in matrix management
10) High degree of business acumen
11) Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
12) Willingness to travel extensively both domestic and international as needed (up to 40 - 60%)
