About our client
Our client is a CRO based in California. They focus on providing services in data management, statistical analysis and study management.

Clinical Project Manager California
Salary

Responsibilities
1) Oversee all administrative and data management aspects of projects for multiple clinical trials
2) Manage a team of clinical project coordinators, data coordinators and associate clinical data coordinators
3) Ensure all data management procedures are executed with a high attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
4) Maintain a close relationship with clients and stay current on the status of all projects in their purview
5) Ensure department priorities are established, timelines are met and consistency across programs
6) Lead weekly team meetings and attend weekly manager and monthly data management meetings
7) Oversee the activities of project coordinators, data coordinators, associate clinical data coordinators and administrative support
8) Ensure all tasks are appropriately delegated, project milestones are met as per timelines and quality of work is maintained throughout
9) Oversee all aspects of multiple clinical trials
10) Develop and implement new clinical data management processes and systems
11) Oversee the professional development of project and data coordinators as well as associate clinical data coordinators through mentoring, teaching and regular feedback (including formal performance assessments)
12) Use operational tools (e.g., Intranet) and metrics to forecast staffing needs, identify areas for improvement in staff training and development as well as manage project budgets
13) Identify and oversee department priorities
14) Communicate business strategy and company goals through team meetings and other methods
15) Resolve difficult client or co-worker interactions independently and successfully
16) Coordinate with other managers to keep all company projects on schedule
17) Delegate tasks appropriately and help with questions and direction
18) Emphasize the fundamentals of client focus
19) Deliver consistent and timely positive and negative feedback
20) Support professional development of staff
21) Establish measurable and achievable metrics for individual and group performance
22) Ensure accurate and timely entry estimates and study status updates
23) Generate a favorable climate for change, empowering group to use creative and innovative solutions to problem
24) Ensure teams have the appropriate resources to function efficiently while maintaining a positive working environment
25) Encourage an enthusiastic, optimistic and collaborative attitude in the group
26) Develop and maintain good client relationships and treat clients with a respectful and positive attitude
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience
2) Minimum 4 – 6 years of related experience in clinical trials and expertise in using clinical data management systems
3) Comprehension of medical terminology
4) In-depth knowledge of clinical trials, industry regulations and GCPs
5) Ability to execute routine computer-based tasks
6) Excellent leadership skills
7) Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
8) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9) Superb people and project-management skills
10) Strong attention to detail
11) Willingness to relocate
