Position Location Business Development Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Home-Based) Southeast USA Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Identify new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers in the manufacture of clinical trial materials and final drug product 2) Participate in a team selling environment that includes manufacturing experts, licensing counsel and senior executives 3) Identify and qualify new customers, secure and coordinate appointments with prospective customers 4) Maintain strong relationships with new and current customers Requirements 1) BS in Science, Engineering or Business 2) Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing sales with a proven sales track record 3) Experience in CGMP manufacturing requirements, especially aseptic processes 4) In depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry is also required 5) Strong ability to communicate technically 6) Ability to represent advanced parenteral manufacturing and to understand and react to potential client’s needs 7) Southeastern candidates with convenient access to the Birmingham area preferred (but location is flexible) 8) Willingness to travel
