| Responsibilities |
1) Co-ordinate with external organizations such as specialized laboratories to test and validate laboratory result 2) Develop and maintain all appropriate information databases, specifications, analytical procedures and process in collaboration with QA/QC and Manufacturing 3) Report progress, results and conclusions to supervisor and other departments as required 4) Work well in a laboratory environment and provides general laboratory maintenance. 5) Experiment and analyze existing and new product formulations to achieve desired results 6) Provide excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customer 7) Recommend, formulate and develop new products, concepts and prototypes in accordance with guidance from Research 8) Perform supervisory responsibilities may be required |
| Requirements |
1) BS in Chemistry or a related field with 5+ years experience or MS with 3 years or Ph. D. with 2 years 2) Experience in carbon bond, humic acid, sulhpic acid, nutraceutical or supplement and liquids 3) Experience in formulation or product development, natural and raw ingredients 4) Ability to conduct research on specialized chemicals, ingredients and processes to augment laboratory testing 5) Ability to read, collect data, analyze and interpret general business and technical information, or governmental regulations 6) Ability to experiment and analyze existing and new product formulations 7) Ability to operate a variety of standard laboratory equipment and instrumentations (such as blending equipment, pH meters, spectrophotometers, etc.) 8) Ability to apply principles of logical/scientific thinking to wide range problems 9) Ability to interpret and use nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, etc.) 10) Ability to recommend, formulate and develop new products, concepts and prototypes |
