Position Location Quality Engineer Florida Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Plan and direct activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products 2) Develop and initiate standards/methods for inspection, testing and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical/electrical/mechanical 3) Devise sampling procedures and designs and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data 4) Establish program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities 5) Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devise methods to assess cost and responsibility 6) Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities Requirements 1) Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline 2) Minimum 3 years experience in a quality position in a medical device company 3) Good computer skills (MS Office) and QAD or similar inventory software 4) Knowledge of testing equipment, statistical methods, control plans, machine, tools and equipment
