About our client
Our client is a pharmaceutical manufacturer headquartered in MD with manufacturing facilities in MN. They focus on producing OTC and prescription drugs.
Position Location
Contracts Administrator Baudette, Minnesota
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Oversee the administration of all government and/or commercial contracts
2) Manage administration of government and/or commercial, contracts, including preparation of proposals, pre-contract data collection, etc.
3) Handle negotiation, management and acceptance of contracts, including licensing agreements
4) Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions
5) Analyze estimates for materials, equipment and production costs
6) Review and approve contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, as well as conformance to master agreements
7) Negotiate and/or administer licensing of agreements, including renewal, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidations
8) Verify all aspect of orders, including pricing, to ensure conformance with company policy while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness
9) Anticipate problems and initiate actions to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field
2) 3 – 5 years of experience in managing and administering contracts
3) Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
4) Ability to develop strong internal/external relationships
5) Ability to interface with multiple departments
6) Ability to interpret data
7) Ability to interpret policies and regulations
8) Ability to make decisions independently and meet deadlines
9) Ability to perform under stressful situations
10) Ability to solve problems, weigh risks and successfully complete plan
11) Attention to detail
12) Excellent interpersonal, organizational, follow-through and communication skills
13) Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
14) Strong verbal, negotiations and written communication skills
