About our client
Our client is a pharmaceutical manufacturer headquartered in MD with manufacturing facilities in MN. They focus on producing OTC and prescription drugs.
Position Location
Marketing Manager Baudette, Minnesota
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Manage the Marketing function
2) Handle OTC and Rx product launch, forecast and price strategy
3) Liaise the scheduling of new OTC and Rx products/items
4) Oversee departmental expense budget and tracking
5) Manage OTC and Rx promotion, analysis and design
6) Ensure new product notification for pricing agencies
7) Handle customer-specific promotions, trade show planning and registration
8) Manage OTC and Rx item UPC numbers
9) Analyze OTC and Rx customer profitability and conduct customer business reviews
10) Plan, assign and direct the work of subordinates
11) Manage projects
12) Perform other duties as assigned/requested
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related degree
2) 5 – 7 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
3) Previous pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
4) Experience in customer service orientation, data affinity, planning and organizing, compliance, process facilitation as well as project and process management
5) Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
6) Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
7) Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers and the general public
8) Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference and volume
9) Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
10) Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits
11) Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatical or schedule form
12) Ability to make decisions independently after appropriate input from areas that will be affected
13) Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
14) Ability to perform under stressful situations
15) Ability to work with integrity
16) Superb communication, presentation, decision-making and problem-solving skills
17) Innovative individual with ability to keep on learning continuously
18) Good leadership and strategic-thinking skills
