Position Location
Supervisor, Quality Control Finished Products Florida
Salary

Responsibilities
1) Implement analytical methodologies by employing various analytical techniques and instrumentation.
2) Supervise analytical technology transfer for in-process and finished product testing.
3) Train and supervise staff in use of instrumentation and testing techniques, protocols and regulated safety guidelines.
4) Review data for compliance to specifications produced by Quality Control in-process and finished product testing staff and external contract laboratories.
5) Coordinate testing to ensure support of Operations/Manufacturing and R&D.
6) Develop, implement and revise departmental procedures, policies, validation reports and special projects as necessary.
7) Develop and maintain in-process and finished products staff objectives and/or standards.
8) Prepare documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
9) Perform Quality Control internal audits.
10) Perform Quality Control investigations
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
2) Five or more years of professional experience as well as broad knowledge of scientific principles, chromatographic analysis, analytical methods (i.e., HPLC, GC, UV), and excellent understanding of separation theories.
3) Understanding of compendia testing (USP, EP, BP, JP) and wet chemistry techniques is a plus.
4) Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be highly organized and be able to work under pressure; must have good interpersonal and leadership skills; must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft business office applications.
5) A background in scientific software is required. Knowledge of Water’s Corp. Empower and LIMS as well as TrackWise is a plus.
