Clinical Development Manager East Coast (Home Office)
Salary

Responsibilities
The Clinical Development Manager will serve as a clinical resource in support of and contributing to the clinical department’s strategy and objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Position:
1. Strong clinical knowledge base with an understanding of medical terminology
2. Training of Physicians and Clinicians on the use of company products
3. Develop, build, maintain and leverage long term relationships with customer base
4. Determine procedure volumes and product preferences in customer base
5. Identify Key Physicians by region and indication
6. Troubleshoot clinical challenges
7. Provide field based support and coaching of sales team members on clinical issues
8. Attend and assist at tradeshows
9. Review competitive product offerings with written reviews submitted
10. Participate, collaboratively develop, and deliver corporate training sessions in conjunction with Clinical Development Director
11. Work with Regional and Territory Sales Manager(s) to initiate, establish and maintain contacts, education and working relationships in existing accounts
12. Provide education and reference materials to physicians and other healthcare providers in the form of technical, theoretical, and clinical application of company products
13. Facilitate clinical evaluations of new and existing company products
14. Support pre market product evaluations and product development initiatives
15. Maintain awareness of medical and scientific literature to maintain expertise of current issues relevant to interventional radiology, applicable pathology, embolotherapy and other clinical subject matter of company interest
16. Review and summarize relevant clinical articles to highlight selling advantages for field team 17. Provide clinical and technical support for sales, marketing and business development endeavors
18. Develop and maintain effective knowledge of competitive products and provide input to clinical management team
19. Contribute to clinical development plans and clinical trial protocols
20. Support field based clinical studies, including qualifying sites, initiating trial activities, and monitoring study implementation and data collection accuracy
21. Collaboratively contributes to the clinical study documentation, including study protocols, investigator brochures, informed consent forms, case report forms, clinical study reports, annual reports, various study materials, and monitoring tools
22. Aids in setting the strategy, budget, and goals for the clinical department
23. Maintains clinical research site files
24. Prepares and conducts site initiation visits, interim visits and termination visits
25. Maintains frequent contact with clinical site staff, preparing and tracking required documentation and assuring regulatory compliance with corporate SOPs
26. Tracks patient recruitment, produce status reports and monitoring reports, track SAEs, conduct study close-out activities, conduct query resolution, and other duties associated with monitoring and managing clinical studies
Requirements
1) 4 year University degree
2) 5 years clinical management experience
3) 5 or more years Medical Device Industry experience
4) Previous clinical trial/study involvement and/or management
5) One year experience as a CRA/CRC
6) Must be able to travel domestically 3/4 days per week and occasional international travel
7) RN (CRN certification preferred)
8) AART with CVIR certification Preferred
