Director of Project Management Minneapolis MN
Salary

Responsibilities
1) The Director of Project Management will drive Product Development from inception to launch
2) Lead the project management function. Drive projects by engaging the various functions organization
3) Communicate progress on an ongoing basis
4) Maintains progress, tracks progress and drives projects to completion
5) This position is the primary point of contact for all project information to key stakeholders
6) Key point of contact for project information.
7) Lead by Project meetings
8) Manages the project portfolio
9) Able to balance project delivery within function
10) Ensures that projects are delivered to agreed timelines by engaging stakeholders
11) Holds stakeholders and project managers accountable for their deliverables
12) Communicates status and issues with the executive management group
13) Manages direct reports effectively
14) Develop systems and tools for effective project management
15) Ensures that project management is central to the completion of projects
16) Ensures that project management works to the original budget
17) Escalates issues to the executive management as required
Requirements
1) A Bachelor’s degree in life/physical science or related field required. MS degree in Project Management or MBA preferred
2) 7-10 years of project team or functional department leadership experience in pharmaceutical industry is required, generic pharmaceutical is preferred
3) Previous experience at a Sr. Manager or Director level project management role
4) Thorough understanding of the new drug development and approval process for NDA/ANDA products is necessary
