About our client
Our Client is a global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, with office in Canada and the US. They focus on the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative treatments to serve unmet medical needs. They currently have 3 products on the market, and revenues exceeding $1m. Position Location
Medical Science Liaison Homebased, ON
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Cultivate collaborative relationships with current and future thought leaders in academic and clinical medicine
2) As product expert, develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL)
3) Work with all field sales personnel to provide clinical expertise.
4) Contribute to field sales training
5) Provide scientific support for speaker programs and symposia
6) Respond to product inquiries in a detailed manner liaising with Medical Information department
7) Facilitate company sponsored phase 3b/4 clinical research as needed.
8) Is the conduit from the field to headquarters on any clinical trial project proposals, and is responsible to ensure that Investigator Sponsored Studies are performed
Requirements
1) PharmD/M.Sc./PhD or other equivalent clinical graduate degree
2) 80% travel in region of Ontario and Manitoba (ideally, this position would be based in Toronto or Ottawa)
3) Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
4) Experience in clinical trial design, logistics, and evaluation
5) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
6) Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information
7) Strong commercial/business focus
8) Knowledgeable in clinical, commercial and regulatory issues affecting the pharmaceuticals
9) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
10) Exceptional organization skills as well as team player
