About our client
Our client is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company headquartered in New Jersey that is focused on the manufacturing and distribution of a number of generic brand therapeutics. The company has some of the strongest financial indicators in the industry, an experienced management team and a robust pipeline.

Manager, Research and Development New Jersey
Salary

Responsibilities
1) Oversee the activities of a group comprising analytical method development/validation, specifications and analytical technology transfer as well as troubleshooting within a R&D environment
2) Provide technical guidance on complex analytical development issues
3) Resolve any analytical development issues raised by the government authorities
4) Approve all analytical documents
5) Manage the priorities for all analytical development activities
6) Oversee the process of workflow from different departments and stages within the developmental sector
7) Maintain an understanding of the development pipeline
8) Monitor (constantly) progress and timeline projections
9) Provide direction and assistance to all members of the Development Team
10) Monitor and draft proper documentation of work and discussions throughout the development efforts
11) Recommend continuous improvement initiatives concerning the Analytical Development Group
Requirements
1) MS/BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry
2) 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in pharmaceutical analytical development and analysis
3) Minimum 2 years of healthcare-related research experience
4) In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment, including GLP and GMP principles
5) Excellent communication (written and oral), IT (MS Office), analytical, interpersonal, decision-making and organizational skills
6) Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and a team player
