Director, New Therapeutic Opportunities New Jersey
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Collaborate with Business Development, Licensing and Global Marketing to search, screen and evaluate products and new categories for growth
2) Act as a Business Developer and Licensing liaison/principal contact for R&D input for due diligence for licensing and acquisition candidates
3) Assess pharma and generic portfolios as well as pipelines for switch opportunities
4) Ensure OTC is an integral part of company life cycle management by targeted interaction with Marketed Products Brand Optimization Group and relevant international project teams
5) Identify all significant external candidates for both strategic brands and for major new category entries
6) Liaise with designated project team(s) to prepare detailed development plan including regulatory strategies
7) Meet with FDA and other health authorities, relevant stakeholders and opinion leaders to identify/facilitate pipeline growth
8) Supervise 2 associate directors of new therapeutic opportunities
Requirements
1) Ph. D./MD
2) Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical experience (clinical research preferred)
3) 5+ years of Director-level clinical OTC trial experience
4) Rx experience a plus
5) Excellent presentation skills
6) Ability to work in multi-functional teams in a matrix organization
7) Ability to work well with Marketing
