| About our client |
| Our client specializes in developing and commercializing biomarker diagnostic tests. Since the company’s inception, our client has made significant progress in developing and clinically validating novel ELISAs for biomarkers. Using samples from experimentally injured rats and from human subjects with injury, our client has confirmed the relationship between certain injury biomarkers and injury severity. |

| Responsibilities |
1) Prepare reports to federal and regulatory agencies as required 2) Develop clinical research project plans and budgets 3) Provide project management of project plans 4) Assist in writing grants to funding agencies including Department of Defense and National Institutes of Health 5) Analyze clinical data (interim and/or final) and make recommendations for future clinical and non-clinical studies 6) Identify and partner with internal and external experts 7) Prepare new clinical protocols for studies of biomarkers of brain and organ injury (as required) 8) Assist in coordinating and editing scientific papers related to clinical studies 9) Communicate with cross-functional/multi-disciplinary project teams |
| Requirements |
1) Experience in neurology, project management, clinical and/or translational research and data management 2) Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, effective cross-functional communication, influencing) 3) Excellent communication skills (oral and written) 4) Good problem-solving and analytical skills 5) Excellent business skills (integration of marketing and financial aspects of plan with scientific and clinical aspects) 6) Superb self-management and organizational skills 7) Ability to multi-task |
