About our client Our client, based in Canada, is an analytical contract laboratory specializing in pharmaceutical analysis. This opportunity is for a Contract Chemist/Analyst with the potential to become a permanent position for the ideal candidate. Position Location Chemist Mississauga, Ontario Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Perform analytical testing for finished pharmaceutical products 2) Execute method development, validation, and transfer for assay, impurities as well as dissolution 3) Process information using ChemStation software 4) Troubleshoot instruments and analytical methods within the laboratory 5) Assist in reviewing raw data generated by other analysts ensuring accurate results and appropriate documentation practices 6) Ensure that all deadlines are met for assigned projects 7) Support the lab in performing routine tasks (as required) 8) Perform other duties as assigned Requirements 1) B. Sc. in Chemistry or a related subject 2) 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry 3) Excellent knowledge of ChemStation software 4) Superb knowledge of GMP, GLP, and FDA compliance 5) Proficiency in MS Word and Excel 6) Ability to work well with limited supervision
