Position Location Manufacturing Manager Columbia, Maryland Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Lead the Slide Production Department to produce antigen-substrate from mammalian cells and viruses 2) Perform cell culture in GMP environment 3) Maintain accurate production records 4) Perform routine tasks including preparation of culture media, cell counts and maintenance of cell and virus seed stocks 5) Perform pre-production testing of seed stocks 6) Supervise lab operators and schedule production 7) Maintain inventory levels 8) Participate in product improvement projects 9) Oversee slide dispensing, fixation, slide packaging and kit assembly Requirements 1) Bachelor's Degree in Science (Microbiology/Immunology preferred) 2) Minimum 5 years of experience in cell culture preferred (highly motivated candidate with other lab experience may be trained in cell culture) 3) Biotech manufacturing experience a plus 4) Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
