About our client
Our client is a young medical device company. They address the unmet requirements for superior and more effective organ transplant technologies.

Salary

Responsibilities
1) Participate in pre-clinical research and development activities for the OCS
2) Summarize and interpret data as well as present results during team and cross-functional meetings
3) Initiate and provide continued operational support at one or more clinical trial sites
4) Participate in training and supervising other researchers, clinical staff and others (as needed)
5) Design, develop and execute both didactic and clinical training programs
6) Participate in data management for the pre-clinical development activities for the OCS
7) Participate in medical and scientific conferences and scientific meetings
8) Work with a cross-functional team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers to develop the OCS further
Requirements
1) BS/MS in Nursing, Biology, Life Sciences or a related field
2) 2 years of experience as a cardiovascular surgery nurse or Physician Assistant
3) Working knowledge of extracorporeal circulation/cardiopulmonary support, biocompatible materials and circulatory support/ventricular assistance
4) Knowledge of blood conservation techniques/auto transfusion, myocardial preservation, anticoagulation and hematologic monitoring/analysis and physiological monitoring/analysis
5) Expertise in blood gas and blood chemistry monitoring/analysis and/or heme dilution principles
6) Background in organ procurement or tissue recovery a plus
7) Experience in cardiothoracic intensive care and/or managing patients on ventilator support and telemetry along with transplant experience a plus
8) Foreign language skills (German, Italian, French and Spanish preferred) a plus
9) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
10) Knowledge of statistics and the ability to interpret experimental data to summarize the key findings
11) Willingness to travel (up to 75%)
