About our client

Position Location
SCE Technical Consultant Programmer/Analyst East Coast – Pottstown, Pennsylvania
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Support a Statistical Computing Environment (SCE) used by SAS programmers and statisticians for regulatory submissions (NDAs)
2) Perform software installations and configuration of SAS and other key applications that comprise a SCE
3) Follow client change control procedures and develop installation, operational and performance documents
4) Ensure upgrade and migration of systems
5) Meet with client groups to determine requirements
6) Provide guidance and obtain approval for implementing changes to the production SCE
7) Interface with IT support personnel (as needed) to complete client requests
8) Provide support and troubleshooting for application and performance issues
9) Report to the Project Manager and interface with other team members
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2) Knowledge of clinical reporting and statistical applications systems/sub-systems
3) Knowledge of SAS products and programming
4) Expertise in Windows Server software and knowledge of Windows Registry
5) Pharmaceutical experience
6) Computer programming experience
7) Database experience (e.g. Oracle)
8) Proficiency in multiple hardware platforms and operating systems (Windows, UNIX, etc.)
9) Ability to meet independently with clients
10) Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
11) Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
