Position Location Production Supervisor Torrance, California Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Oversee the purification, finishing and shipping operation of GMP peptides 2) Coordinate with other departments as applicable 3) Maintain purification, lyophilization and finishing GMP labs compliance 4) Ensure scale up of GMP peptide purification 5) Oversee process optimization in the purification area 6) Ensure that all cGMP and safety regulations are followed 7) Write appropriate equipment SOPs and master batch records 8) Review SOPs and master batch records 9) Ensure completeness of executed batch records 10) Perform data evaluation of executed batch records 11) Oversee entire production functions in the absence of the Director of Manufacturing 12) Communicate all relevant information to the Director of Manufacturing and appropriate department heads 13) Perform related duties as assigned Requirements 1) BS or higher degree in Chemical Engineering 2) 2 – 5 years of practical experience in peptide manufacturing 3) Minimum 1-year of experience in a supervisory position 4) Minimum 2 years of experience in GMP manufacturing
