About our client

Position Location
Analytical Scientist Miami, Florida
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Perform and document analytical testing in support of transdermal product development
2) Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses based on data analyzed
3) Assist in developing analytical procedures for validation of methods and stability testing
4) Develop and validate analytical methods including interpreting data and writing reports
5) Coordinate HPLC testing, make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results
6) Carry out in-vitro flux studies involving setting permeation experiments
7) Maintain proper inventory (including tissue) within the in-vitro laboratory
8) Develop rapid analysis techniques for a large quantity of samples
9) Calibrate analytical instrumentation at scheduled intervals
10) Follow current GMPs in performing and documenting experiments
11) Perform other duties and special projects (as required)
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline with minimum 2 – 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s or 0 – 2 years with a Master’s and a demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles
2) Working experience in a pharmaceutical environment
3) Knowledge of human physiology preferred
4) Good communication skills (verbal and written)
5) Computer literate
