Position Location
Associate Project Manager Northern California (Central Bay)
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Establish effective working relationships with all relevant internal departments as well as with external partners
2) Assist in developing and managing project plans for optimal integration of timing, scope and resources
3) Work with interdisciplinary Project Team members and external partners to create, track as well as report project timelines and status
4) Identify critical paths and decision points on current and future projects and ensure timely appropriate action to preempt program slippage
5) Identify and track-resolution efforts for project-related risk and issues and communicate positive and negative deviations from project plans
6) Oversee the development/optimization of systems/processes
7) Participate in identifying ‘best practices’ within the company
Requirements
1) Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
2) 2 – 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry experience
3) Experience and background in demonstrable project management skills
4) Experience in working with an interdisciplinary team
