| Responsibilities |
1) Serve as a leadership resource in the day-to-day operations of Cardiovascular Devices (CVD) clinical research projects 2) Oversee project management for all CVD projects through direct supervision and mentoring of assigned project leaders 3) Ensure that contracted services are performed on schedule, within budget, in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and as per sponsor specifications 4) Facilitate problem-resolution and issue escalation across all CVD projects 5) Prepare proposals, budgets, and payment schedules for new projects in conjunction with assigned proposal project leaders 6) Monitor the financial performance of all CVD projects 7) Serve in a primary role as a company operations resource for the CVD Therapeutic Area Leader and for CVD Therapeutic Business Development 8) Lead the CVD Core Team and facilitate the development of tools and resources needed for CVD clinical research projects 9) Serve as a Project Leader for CVD clinical research projects as assigned by the Director of Project Leadership 10) Perform administrative duties required for direct supervision of project leaders conducting CVD clinical research projects 11) Support business development efforts through participation in sponsor meetings |
| Requirements |
1) BS in a Medical/Life Sciences field with a Master’s Degree or other post-graduate training in a clinical discipline or Business/Health Care Administration (MSN, Pharm. D., Ph. D., MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred 2) Health care professional with RN, PA, RP. h. or MT preferred 3) Experience as a Senior Project Leader with minimum 6 years of project management experience in an academic research organization, CRO or pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device company 4) Previous supervisory experience 5) Experience in cardiovascular medical devices preferred |
