| Responsibilities |
1) Oversee client interaction 2) Define and manage project requirements, deliverables, schedule adherence and budgets 3) Monitor resource needs and manage staff 4) Promote SOP and policy compliance as well as use of tools and metrics 5) Manage consistency of project management and clinical monitoring regarding project requirements, deliverables, schedules and budgets 6) Ensure that projects are adequately staffed with personnel and resources 7) Oversee development and maintenance of operations and procedure manuals, work guidelines, department metrics and project tools 8) Coordinate training and educational programs to ensure that the staff is trained (as needed) 9) Monitor departmental billable percentages 10) Assist with Operations’ meetings and directives to improve departmental as well as corporate policies and procedures 11) Make presentations and represent the company in professional meetings and in front of prospective as well as existing clients 12) Manage personnel activities and provide guidance to staff for professional development |
| Requirements |
1) MA (or higher) in Life Sciences 2) 10+ years of progressive clinical research experience 3) 2 years of experience in working as a Director of Clinical Operations for a small biotechnology company 4) Previous experience managing and supervising staff in India 5) Hands-on experience in regulatory filings 6) Excellent communication and presentation skills 7) Willingness to travel to Asia – up to 50% |
