Position Location Quality Control Analyst/Chemist Long Island, New York Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Conduct physical testing of bulk (in-process) batches for conformance to established specifications 2) Check calibration of the laboratory instruments (pH meters, viscometers, pycnometers, etc.) 3) Prepare samples and records for shipping to outside contract testing facilities and to fulfill customer requirements 4) Maintain all records of in-house and contract laboratory testing to comply with cGMP requirements 5) Assist the Manufacturing Department (as needed) by performing pH testing of a phase in the batch production Requirements 1) BS 2) 3 years of experience 3) Experience in calibrating laboratory instruments 4) Expertise in pH testing 5) Knowledge of cGMP
