Senior Director of Data Management Washington
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Oversee all tasks related to successful operations of projects and management of assigned personnel
2) Be accountable for all assigned projects and direct reports
3) Mentor department employees
4) Assist in defining the vision for the department
5) Provide leadership to all members for initiatives that improve quality and efficiency
6) Develop and implement strategies to actualize company goals
7) Supervise and report on project progress and financial health
8) Direct data management project costing and change order processes
9) Participate in proposal and administration of the departmental budget
10) Oversee the start-up and management of the company's operations in India
Requirements
1) Master’s degree in Statistics, Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Math or Computer Programming
2) Minimum 10 years of clinical data management or related experience
3) Experience in clinical research preferred
4) Experience in supporting business development efforts, specifically in offshore locations like India
5) In-depth knowledge of medical terminology
6) Good understanding of and experience in Windows 98 and data management systems (e.g., SAS, Oracle, Clintrials, Oracle Clinical or eDM)
7) Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
8) Ability to independently resolve a variety of issues without close supervision
9) Keen attention to detail
10) Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%)
