| Responsibilities |
1) Guide the development of existing bioassay for validation and use in a regulatory environment
2) Assist in troubleshooting/optimizing existing bioassays for existing projects
as a part of ongoing commitments 3) Drive qualification activities for the bioassays 4) Lead and/or participate in validating bioassays 5) Author SOPs, qualification/validation protocols and reports 6) Act as an internal expert in bioassay development 7) Provide scientifically and technically sound evaluation of assay performance, troubleshooting and failure investigations 8) Ensure that the testing method used is as per appropriate regulatory requirements 9) Review and approve data generated by laboratory personnel 10) Train staff in new technologies if applicable |
| Requirements |
1) MS/Ph. D. in Biological Sciences (Cell Biology/Immunology) 2) 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in bioassay development/validation 3) Demonstrated experience in assay development and validation in compliance with regulation standards/guidelines 4) Working knowledge of biological R&D and QC operation 5) Hands-on technical skills in various biological systems combined with working knowledge of statistics used to support method development 6) Strong literature reviewing abilities and aptitude to develop methods based on information gained from scientific literature 7) Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills |
