About our client
Our client is a rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Massachusetts that is focused on the development of therapeutics for diabetes. Position Location
Research Assistant, Pharmacokinetic Assays Beverly, Massachusetts
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Work in a fast-paced startup environment
2) Perform pharmacokinetic assays on in-vivo plasma samples
3) Work on multiple and simultaneous projects to meet critical timelines
4) Implement experimental protocols for ELISA assays
5) Maintain testing records
6) Assist in pharmacokinetic data analysis
7) Maintain assay records
8) Prepare final reports on analyzed data for reviewing by company management
Requirements
1) Degree (4 Year) in Science or a related field
2) 2 years of hands-on, independent experience in performing either RIA or ELISA assays
3) Highly skilled in pipetting techniques (single, multichannel pipettes)
4) Skilled in performing serial dilutions and target dilutions from stock solutions
5) Experience in laboratory techniques such as characterizing proteins and bipolymers via gel electrophoresis, HPLC, UV spectroscopy and Bradford protein assay
6) Experience in preparing materials using standard techniques such as gel filtration, centrifugation and ultra filtration
7) Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with built-in Excel data-treatment and statistical analysis mathematical functions
8) Demonstrated ability to rigorously follow standard operating procedures and laboratory protocols
