Position Location
Division Statistical Leader Michigan
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Ensure site procedures are in compliance with corporate standards
2) Drive consistency in application of statistics across all sites and keep Instruments in step with the rest of the corporation
3) Perform reviews and audits of the statistical procedures and applications at each site
4) Represent Instruments in the company and/or corporate statistics discussions
5) Oversee all site statistical review boards
6) Create and maintain a statistics training schedule at all sites
7) Find adequate statistical experts (local to sites) who can be used as trainers or points of contact
8) Monitor application of statistics as well as identify inadequacies and recommend updates to procedures and/or training
9) Resolve disputes about the application of statistics
10) Provide advice on any submissions that need to deliver statistical valid data
11) Receive direct/indirect reports from each site
12) Oversee assigned subordinate's compliance with company policies and corrective actions
Requirements
1) BS/BA or higher degree
2) Trained or attended courses in Statistics
3) Academic or work experience in Statistics
4) 4 – 6 years of experience in statistical application and problem-solving
5) Experience in senior-level leadership or management (primus inter pares)
6) Working knowledge of statistics and its application
7) Excellent analytical skills
8) Superb interpersonal, communication and managerial skills
9) Excellent mechanical/electrical designing and problem-solving skills
