Position Location Vice President of Manufacturing San Diego, California Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Evaluate and adjust the manufacturing processes as well as contract manufacturers 2) Negotiate (with legal advisors) manufacturing contracts for pharmaceutical products 3) Maintain continuous oversight of contracted product manufacturers 4) Conduct periodic process review for improving quality and cost measures 5) Maintain good working relationships with regulatory authorities having cGMP oversight 6) Visit and inspect contracted manufacturers (as needed) 7) Maintain proper oversight and regulatory compliance for the pharmaceutical products Requirements 1) Degree (4 year) 2) Commercial experience preferred 3) Experience in aseptic manufacturing
