Position Location Chemical Engineer San Diego, California Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Assist in the design and scale-up of complex aseptic pharmaceutical processes from pilot to commercial scales 2) Provide technical support and leadership for process characterization work, product manufacturing and process/equipment validation efforts 3) Work (hands-on) in the lab and pilot plant and commercial facilities to set-up, develop and perform experiments challenging process parameters to characterize processes Requirements 1) BS (Chemical/Biochemical Engineering) 2) Experience in working in a lab 3) Experience in aseptic processing, CIP and equipment design a plus 4) Knowledge of bioprocess equipment design and process chemistry 5) Ability to manage multiple responsibilities 6) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 7) Highly self-motivated
