| Responsibilities |
1) Provide clinical expertise to the therapeutic unit and clinical knowledge to all product line(s) related to the therapeutic unit 2) Lead strategic assessment, planning and execution of scientific communications 3) Supervise/train employees within the specified therapeutic area 4) Provide medical/clinical expertise to internal (marketing, manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, R&D and legal) and external (healthcare professionals, patients, advocacy groups, etc.) customers from the U.S. and abroad for product-related issues 5) Assist in the resolution of product queries/complaints 6) Review/approve advertising and promotional as well as scientific and educational materials within the therapeutic area |
| Requirements |
1) Advanced degree (Pharm. D., Ph. D., MD, RN) 2) 3+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device or a biotech company 3) Supervisory or clinical experience is a plus 4) Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations and a record of responsible actions 5) Excellent verbal/written communication skills with superb presentation and teaching skills
6) Proficiency in computers with ability to participate in a cross-functional
team approach 7) Ability to influence, initiate and accept change as well as address complex, multi-faceted questions and issues 8) Exceptional follow-through skills of tasks and projects 9) Willingness to travel – up to 20% |
