Position Location Research Scientist – Research and Development Formulations Montreal, Quebec Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Provide scientific inputs 2) Carry out activities related to the development of a stable pharmaceutical dosage form in the area of immediate and controlled release dosage forms 3) Perform pre-formulation studies 4) Prepare and present development plan 5) Perform activities related to developing and optimizing formulations 6) Provide inputs for master production records 7) Supervise scale-ups 8) Write detailed development reports Requirements 1) Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy/related fields) and a Master's degree or a Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences 2) 2 – 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree or 1 year or less if a Ph. D. 3) Experience in formulating oral, solid dosage form with an emphasis on modified release, oral solid dosage forms 4) Bilingual (English and French)
