| Responsibilities |
1) Handle multiple projects simultaneously 2) Design, oversee and execute experiments to test the safety and efficiency of insulin formulations 3) Develop test protocols and actively participate in their execution 4) Analyze test data 5) Prepare results for presentation to other scientists and managers 6) Help select and supervise outside contractors |
| Requirements |
1) MS, Ph. D. or Pharm. D. in Pharmacology, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or a related field 2) 2 – 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology in-vivo setting 3) Experience in experimental work with live mouse and/or rat models (additional experience in working with large animal models preferred) 4) Experience in and knowledge of designing, implementation and analysis of safety, pharmacologic, pharmacokinetic as well as toxicological studies 5) Desire to perform hands-on PK/ADME experiments using glucose clamp techniques 6) Highly motivated and creative individual eager to be a key member of the Science Team in developing an important new therapeutic 7) Ability to understand regulatory requirements for animal testing 8) Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment |
