About our client
Our client, headquartered in Colorado, is a privately owned diagnostic company that is focused on the treatment of oncology and autoimmune diseases. The company has an experienced management team with over 30 studies and an empowering corporate culture that is focused on the professional development of its employees.
Position Location
Clinical Studies Manager/Leader Boulder, Colorado
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Manage multiple clinical studies and associated activities within a comprehensive oncology program involving the company
2) Select academic collaborators and a high-profile pharmaceutical client
3) Assist in developing clinical study protocols and other study-related documents
4) Work with clinical sites on budget development and management
5) Review and approve invoices for payment within budget
6) Coordinate study/site initiation, collection of time-sensitive clinical sample types and corresponding clinical information from multiple sites
7) Review and understand clinical data for completeness and accuracy
8) Manage the acquisition (and entry if necessary) of clinical data from academic collaborator sites and transfer to company databases
Requirements
1) Degree in Life Sciences/Biology
2) 5 years of experience with minimum 3 years in a clinical study setting
3) Experience in and comprehensive knowledge of oncology and autoimmune diseases
4) Excellent understanding of clinical test values
5) Basic knowledge of molecular biology
6) Ability to manage multiple clinical studies
7) Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
8) Superb organizational skills with keen attention to detail
9) Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
