About our client
Our client, headquartered in Colorado, is a privately owned diagnostic company that is focused on the treatment of oncology and autoimmune diseases. The company has an experienced management team with over 30 studies and an empowering corporate culture that is focused on the professional development of its employees.
Position Location
Clinical Data Manager Boulder, Colorado
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Create customized electronic database templates for the capture, processing, validation and reporting of clinical data of new studies
2) Generate queries for missing or discrepant data for clinical samples received from external sites as well as CRFs received from existing sites
3) Participate in quality control review of clinical data, prior to release
4) Assist in transferring paper CRF data into the in-house system
5) Liaise with the Clinical and IT Teams to ensure timely and accurate accrual of clinical data across studies
6) Train Clinical Data Entry personnel, CRCs and CRAs in procedures relevant to clinical data entry and management
Requirements
1) Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Biology
2) Minimum 1-year clinical study experience
3) Experience in oncology and autoimmune diseases preferred
4) Electronic data capture experience a plus
5) Excellent understanding of the clinical research development process and clinical databases
6) Knowledge (in-depth) of medical terminology, clinical measures and information collected during clinical studies
7) Ability to learn custom in-house Laboratory Information Management Systems
8) Exceptional attention to detail
9) Ability to communicate professionally with peers, clients, management and vendors
10) Team-oriented
11) Superb computer skills
12) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
