About our client

Position Location
Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift) New Jersey
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Coordinate and schedule the work assignments for the Maintenance Technicians, Electricians, Mechanics and external contractors
2) Promote a safe work environment and instill a culture of individual accountability for following company’s safety procedures and work in a safe manner at all times
3) Administer the Data stream MP2 preventive maintenance (PM) and work order (WO) management system for timely completion of PMs and WOs
4) Repair work orders through coordination with the Planning, Laboratory, R&D and Production groups
5) Ensure timely completion of CAPAs and deviations for the assigned facilities departments
6) Maintain all services and utilities to support operations to the facility
7) Ensure an adequate inventory of critical spare equipment/parts to support the production and facility activities
8) Provide support on engineering capital projects (as required)
9) Ensure that personnel at all facilities receive and maintain required level of work skills, safety and cGMP training
10) Monitor and sustain compliance to the department’s budget on a monthly basis and support the development of the annual budget
11) Implement a strategic program to seek and execute continuing improvements i.e., increasing use of predictive maintenance tools to increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)
Requirements
1) BS/BA in Engineering or an allied field preferred
2) Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance with direct supervision of maintenance personnel
3) Knowledge of pharmaceutical processing equipment and cGMP requirements
4) Ability to effectively supervise a union work force
5) Ability to prioritize assignments
6) Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
7) Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Data Stream MP2
8) Good communication (verbal and written) skills
9) Bilingual skills a plus
