About our client
Our client is a rapidly growing nutraceutical company headquartered in Los Angeles that is focused on the development and commercialization of various nutritional supplements. Position Location
Educator (Technical Marketing) Los Angeles, California
Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Handle sales and marketing of nutritional products (with a focus on probiotics) by helping in drafting marketing and promotion plans to increase the awareness and sales of products
2) Communicate (necessary) product information to the sales force, retailers and other parties
3) Disseminate information about scientific publications, marketing and promotional materials via multiple media channels (radio programs, seminars, in-store trainings, e-communications, etc.) to the sales force, retailers and other parties
4) Coordinate with and support R&D, Marketing, Graphics, Production, Sales, Customer Service and others in product development and technical support
5) Collect and maintain an inventory of all relevant internal and third-party literature related to products
6) Work with the sales force to conduct health food retailed staff training
7) Provide updated information, brochures and literature to the sales force and office personnel
8) Perform other related duties (as required)
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science (Nutrition, Biochemistry or related field)
2) Minimum 2 years of experience in dietary supplement, nutrition, nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry
3) Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook
4) Self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize
5) Excellent project-management skills
6) Superb work ethics
7) Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and team skills
