Salary

Responsibilities
1) Lead a skilled maintenance technical staff in implementing maintenance programs that support reliable operation and extend the useful life of assets
2) Carry out work duties with a 'bias for action'
3) Communicate effectively with Operations, Quality, R&D, and other departments to determine needs, opportunities and priorities
4) Foster teamwork at all levels
5) Coordinate, arrange and supervise Maintenance personnel in completing corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance activities on all company-owned equipment and facilities
6) Monitor compliance with company’s procedures, practices and financial goals
7) Ensure that equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe, operable condition as per SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
8) Participate in developing policies and procedures related to maintenance of facilities, grounds and equipment
9) Oversee buildings, grounds and infrastructure to ensure that they are maintained in a safe, operable condition that provides a favorable impression on clients
10) Evaluate equipment histories and condition and provide a summary of maintenance recommendations to Manager of Maintenance
11) Identify and attend in-training opportunities relevant to the position
12) Provide staff-training on a variety of topics, including effective utilization of maintenance logs, completion of routine maintenance (specific to the facility), equipment operations, fire safety, lockout/tagout, etc.
13) Arrange and coordinate the relevant training required by regulations, SOP or cGMP for departments
14) Carry out other duties (as assigned)
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with minimum 2 years of directly related experience/appropriate technical training and/or year-for-year work experience in a similar position
2) 5+ years of (progressively responsible) experience in performing a variety of industrial maintenance activities
3) Supervisory experience in a maintenance area preferred
4) In-depth knowledge of methods, materials, tools and practices in one of these – industrial building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulics or other mechanical trades
5) Superb knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions as well as cGMPs of the trades involved
6) Ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions, prints, sketches and diagrams
7) Ability to handle multiple tasks as well as direct and evaluate maintenance work performed by others
8) Ability to use computers for email, document development, CMMS and equipment monitoring programs
9) Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
10) Ability to use a respirator, harness, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment
11) Superb math, reading, oral and written communication skills
12) Excellent physical and mental fitness
13) Good attendance
