Position Location Director of Monitoring Services (Home-Based) East Coast, USA Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Develop alliances with (other) providers in key regions 2) Maintain regular communication with clients with a focus on problem-solving 3) Oversee assignment of CRAs for each project 4) Ensure that regional CRAs provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to clients and clinical sites 5) Lead the development of monitoring, interdepartmental operating policies and procedures as well as working instructions 6) Assess training needs and provide training for CRAs 7) Participate in the development of RFPs and provide information on monitoring resources 8) Maintain current knowledge of industry activity/regulations 9) Participate in monthly BD project reviews (as needed) 10) Work with other departments to develop strategies to address the impact of proposed and new regulations on monitoring and interdepartmental procedures 11) Participate in client meetings (as needed) Requirements 1) Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Life Sciences 2) 6 years of progressive clinical research experience, including 2 years as a CRA Manager 3) Experience in oncology preferred 4) Management experience in a CRO 5) Experience as a CRA 6) Excellent communication and presentation skills 7) Willingness to travel (overnight)
