Position Location Director, Clinical Operations Chicago, Illinois Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Manage all activities of project managers and staff 2) Ensure all timeframes and targets are met on time and within budget 3) Serve as a senior-level liaison with clients and support business development activities 4) Oversee all aspects of study management Requirements 1) Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline 2) 10+ years of progressive experience in clinical research, including project management and experience in working with CROs at a Director’s level 3) Experience in supporting business development efforts 4) Experience in managing a Project Management Team as well as monitoring the team 5) Phase II and III experience 6) Forecasting and budgeting experience 7) In-depth knowledge and understanding of FDA regulations and GCPs 8) Ability to recognize and study company needs and implement an effective action plan 9) Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) 10) Strong leadership skills 11) Willingness to travel – up to 20%
