| Responsibilities |
1) Develop key product formulations according to industry standards in collaboration with the Research and Development Team 2) Provide technical support services to achieve client’s business objectives and meet the distributor/consumer needs
3) Work with product development to design and execute key formulations for new
products
4) Plan project schedules that support development time lines, delivery and
drop-dead dates
5) Ensure quality formulations and manufacturing reproducibility/durability
through stability, microbiological challenge and batch scale-up initiatives 6) Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving of unresolved or new formula problems 7) Ensure that the new formulations comply with current guidelines 8) Oversee lab documentations such as SOPs, method of analyses, lab notebooks, instrumentation records and result reports 9) Explore new raw materials and processes offered though industry suppliers and others 10) Create a pipeline of innovative formulation ideas for possible future products |
| Requirements |
1) B.S. in Chemistry or a related field, or equivalent experience 2) 2 – 5 years of industry experience (personal care formulation preferred) 3) Experience in designing and implementing SOPs 4) Good understanding of FDA, CTFA and client’s regulations for cosmetic and OTC formulations 5) Ability to work as a team player 6) Good computer skills 7) Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills |
