About our client
Our client is a rapidly growing medical device company headquartered in Gainesville, Florida that is focused on improving nerve repair and regeneration. The company has a rich pipeline of products to change the standard of care for patients with nerve damage.

Technical Services Manager Gainesville, Florida
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experienceManagement
Responsibilities
1) Identify, develop and manage relationships with tissue recovery partners
2) Develop and maintain donor acceptance criteria based on product requirements and state/federal regulations
3) Develop and implement training programs in the areas of tissue recovery and utilization
4) Perform and/or manage the surgical procurement of tissues, including nerves
5) Create and ensure proper implementation of tissue recovery protocols as per cGTPs
6) Conduct regular quality audits of recovery partners to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and industry standards
7) Compile and conduct initial review and screening of potential donor charts for release to the company’s Medical Director(s)
8) Serve as the company liaison for the Medical Director(s) and procure organizations
9) Act as the company’s Tissue Bank Director for the state of New York
10) Develop and implement anatomical training courses for recovery teams, company personnel, sales partners and customers
11) Participate with project teams in manufacturing, product development, marketing and sales for improving and developing current or new products
12) Develop and administer budgets, schedules and performance requirements related to the area of duty
13) Create and lead the professional education program in urology
14) Develop a written technique guide for nerve grafting, and create medical illustrations and/or animations to illustrate the technique
15) Work with surgeons and partners to identify where and how the nerve should be grafted
16) Create and deliver grand round presentation
17) Support the distribution partner sales’ field sales efforts
18) Create and deliver a Resident Training Program
19) Present and coordinate conference and posters
20) Create symposia and logistics
21) Act as a liaison to the technical sales personnel
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Physiology, or Health Sciences/Associate degree and 8 years of experience in a related field (i.e. tissue banking, medical device or pharmaceutical)
2) Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical support, technical product support, customer support, product development or project management
3) Experience in tissue banking along with a clinical background preferred
4) Sound understanding of human and animal tissue product regulations, including 21 CFR 1270/1271, AATB standards and International Tissue Regulations
5) Experience in working as a liaison to the tissue procurement agencies, medical directors and/or surgeons
6) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Power Point
7) Ability to interface effectively and diplomatically with interoffice personnel, donor hospitals, hospital staff, donor families and the people at large
8) Ability to work with all levels of personnel in various health-care settings
9) Self-motivated with an ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
10) Ability to work in a team looking for ways to support team members and involving them in decision-making and sharing of information
11) Strong drive for results – anticipating and finding ways to overcome obstacles and achieving goals
12) Customer-centric approach
13) Exceptional personal communication (written and oral) skills with public speaking experience
14) Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and develop others
15) Willingness to travel
