Position Location
Assistant International Product Manager Memphis, Tennessee
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience International Product Manager
Responsibilities
1) Help the International Product Manager with all matters related to (in order of priority) QA/QC – both external (contract manufacturer) and internal
2) Oversee production and co-ordinate with contract manufacturers
3) Coordinate with the Director of Technical Support, Director of Clinical Research, Marketing and Sales Groups on product-related matters and Warehousing and Shipping for proper storage and handling of finished goods
4) Help the managers related to product testing program, regulatory issues (US and international), internal due diligence for any FDA/FTC related risks and challenges
5) Develop new and existing products continuously
6) Review labels, change and revise formulas and adjustments
7) Help the managers related to documentation on pricing, supply chain, product process and formulations
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree preferred (additional education, certifications or relevant training and educational experience a plus)
2) Minimum 10 years of experience in the areas outlined above, preferably in a nutraceutical or pharmaceutical environment
3) Experience in regulatory issues (both US and International)
4) Familiarity with encapsulation and tabulation of production processes a plus
5) Strong work ethic with an ability to work both independently and on group projects
6) Good analytical skills and attention to detail
7) Excellent organizational and documentation skills a plus
8) Good communication (written and oral) skills
9) Willingness to travel (once a month)
