Position Location Associate Director – Clinical Data Manager New Jersey Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Manage senior clinical data managers and provide performance evaluations 2) Support data management strategies at local level 3) Ensure consistency of data management practices 4) Review protocol, oversee CRF development and monitor database design 5) Oversee data management activities of CROs or in-house (as applicable) 6) Participate in the development of data management SOPs 7) Ensure effective project data management to support company objectives Requirements 1) Bachelor of Science in any associated functional discipline (Master’s or Ph. D. preferred) 2) 5 – 8+ years of experience in a CRO and the pharmaceutical industry, including line management 3) Experience in leading a data management group and exposure to multiple therapeutic areas 4) Knowledge of IT infrastructure and working knowledge of medical terminologies 5) In-depth expertise in data acquisition, cleaning and management techniques 6) Expertise in Clinical Study Protocols (CSPs) and CRF design 7) Excellent management skills
