About our client

Responsibilities
1) Lead SAS programming requirements in support of the company's clinical/pre-clinical research and development studies
2) Create a robust SAS application development environment and library of utilities and SAS macros to fully utilize potential of technologies and standards
3) Configure SAS software and write SAS programs to meet requirements for producing standard tables, listings and graphs for clinical study reports and submitting reports to regulatory agencies
4) Provide leadership for the growth of SAS Programming Group and ensure that SAS activities and processes are implemented as per company SOPs, regulatory and ICH guidelines
5) Develop and update the company SAS programming SOPs, working practices and processes as needed and ensure that they meet the ICH and regulatory requirements
6) Supervise a team
Requirements
1) BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
2) Minimum 5 years of SAS experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO setting or other clinical research setting
3) Experience in programming edit checks, creating SAS data structures, uploading data transfers to and from contracted studies with CROs and/or other vendors
4) Ability to develop applications with little or no supervision using SAS
5) Attention to detail
6) Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with management, peers and subordinates
7) Excellent interpersonal skills
8) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
9) Excellent written and verbal skills
10) Ability to be responsive, flexible and adaptive to support a diverse pipeline
