Senior Director of Data Management Illinois
Salary

Responsibilities
1) Oversee all tasks related to successful operations of projects and management of assigned personnel
2) Maintain ultimate responsibility for all assigned projects and Direct Reports
3) Provide mentoring support for department employees
4) Assist in defining the vision for the department
5) Provide leadership to all members of the skill center for initiatives that improve quality, efficiency and resourcing
6) Develop and implement strategies to actualize the goals of the skill center within the interactive environment of the overall corporation
7) Provide supervision and reporting of project progress and financial health
8) Direct efforts in data management project costing estimates and change order process
9) Participate in proposal and administration of the departmental budget
Requirements
1) Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree preferred), preferably in Statistics, Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Math or Computer Programming
2) Minimum 7 years of clinical data management experience or related experience
3) Minimum 6 years of supervisory/management experience
4) Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in clinical research preferred
5) Good attention to details as well as ability to independently resolve a variety of issues without close supervision
6) Good understanding of and experience in Windows (98, or above) and at least one Database Management System (e.g., SAS, Oracle, Clintrials, Oracle Clinical, eDM)
7) Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
8) Willingness to travel – up to 20%
