| Responsibilities |
1) Provide leadership, direction and implementation for one or more of the company’s personalized health product development programs 2) Plan and execute one or more multi-year projects involving coordination of both internal and external resources along with the collaborators for a timely and on-budget completion 3) Shape and direct the clinical research of the program 4) Report to the Vice President of R&D and work closely with the team members from other functional areas (where applicable) and the external partners to achieve company goals 5) Serve as the overall product development program leader 6) Ensure that the goals, timelines and budget of the program are met 7) Serve as the in-house clinical/scientific expert in area(s) of company focus 8) Act as company’s representative in joint partnership project work 9) Search and establish contacts with expert external clinicians and scientists to serve as collaborators, consultants or Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) members 10) Collaborate with market research personnel to assess business opportunities in areas of responsibility and determine final product concept(s) |
| Requirements |
1) M. D. or Ph. D. 2) Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Director in a biotech/pharma company 3) 3+ years of experience in epidemiology/genetics of chronic diseases |
