Their surfactant replacement therapies have prospective applications across the respiratory field. The company’s new technology is the base for its manufactured goods platform. Planning to use therapies to treat respiratory diseases, the company initially wants to target premature infants. |

| Responsibilities |
1) Create value by providing high-level scientific and clinical information regarding relevant disease concepts and treatment practices 2) Provide educational and research support to therapeutic experts, key individuals at academic institutions and health care providers/organizations 3) Increase awareness and facilitate competitive positioning of the labs products 4) Establish and develop collaborative relationships with the medical/scientific community in neonatology and critical care 5) Facilitate education of provider community on scientific matters 6) Introduce company and company science/products to key opinion leaders and academic centers 7) Participate in regional advisory boards to disseminate scientific information and develop regional advocates 8) Present data on company science and products to health-care providers in compliance with regulatory guidelines 9) Identify investigator initiated research opportunities and attend local, regional and national medical conferences |
| Requirements |
1) Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/health care discipline or Health Care Certification (R.Ph., LPN, RN, RRT) 2) Advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD, MSN, Pharm. D, M. D., DO) 3) Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or a similar position 4) Knowledge/clinical experience in neonatology, pediatrics or pediatric critical care a plus 5) Willingness to travel – up to 60% |
